Born in London, England and of Bangladeshi descent, Tahmina obtained her law degree from Brunel University in London. A member of the Honorable Society of the Middle Temple, she attended the Inns of Court School of Law to become a barrister. After practicing in London for a short while, she immigrated to the U.S., where she is also a citizen. Admitted into the New York State Bar in 2006, Tahmina practices in Seattle, Washington, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. She is fluent in English, Bengali, Urdu, and Hindi.
